Journey to Play ( theater in English for adults)

Shakespeare famously wrote that “All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players…”.

As we grow older, we forget how easy play came to us when we were children. We were risk-takers, pushing creativity and imagination, and solving problems!

This theater course will take us back to play. Activities include voice, movement, space, and acting exercises, all of which improve your confidence, your authenticity, and your connection with audiences. We will journey through time and space, inspiring ourselves through the work of Amanda Gorman, Antonin Artaud, Chico Buarque, and others.

The course will close with a theatrical event where you will demonstrate your newly acquired skills in front of an invited audience of your choice. This course is led by Nathaly Leduc.
